Incubators

Unit won’t turn on.
  • Check power plug connection.
  • Check appropriate input power is supplied to the unit.
  • Check that the circuit breaker is on position.
  • Check that the main power switch is turned on.
Circuit breaker trips after turning on the unit.
  • Check that electronic components are exposed to water.
    If water exposure is present plug off the power cable immediately and contact to our local distributor or sales representative for further service. Residual may cause electrical hazard.
  • Check the unit location. The ideal location is away from dust loading area.
    If dusts stay on electrical wires it may cause short circuit. In case short circuit is present immediately plug off the power cable and contact to our local distributor or sales representative for further service. Residual may cause electrical hazard.
Temperature readout fluctuates.
  • Check that the agitation fan is properly working.
    Contacting to air ventilation pan and/or chamber wall may disrupt fan operation.
Temperature won’t reach to the set point.
  • Check the temperature set point is within the control range.
    Temperature set point needs to be within the range of ambient temperature +5℃ to 50℃.
  • Check room temperature.
    If room temperature is higher than set point minus 5℃ it may affect temperature control accuracy.
CO2 readout fluctuates
  • Check that the agitation fan is properly working.
    Contacting to air ventilation pan and/or chamber wall may disrupt fan operation.
  • Check the amount of water in humidification tray.
    Refill the tray if humidification water amount is almost dried out.
CO2 won’t reach to the set point (CO2 alarm activates)
  • Check the CO2 set point.
  • Check CO2 cylinder has enough remaining amount.
  • Check the secondary valve of regulator is fully opened.
  • Check that CO2 gas line is appropriately connected to CO2 inlet.
  • Check CO2 gas line condition. Bended or squashed gas line may cause CO2 supply interruption.
O2 readout fluctuates (O2 alarm activates)
  • Check N2 or O2 cylinder has enough remaining amount.
  • Check the secondary valve of regulator is fully opened.
  • Check that N2 or O2 gas line is appropriately connected to N2/O2 inlet.
  • Check N2 or O2 gas line condition. Bended or squashed gas line may cause gas supply interruption.
ADD WATER alarm is present (Water Jacket incubators only)
  • Reservoir water level is below its minimum requirement. Refill the reservoir from water supply port located on top right hand corner of front chamber.
    Refer to “Supplying Water” page in operation manual for detailed procedure.
  • Program Temperature Control Systems

    Unit won’t turn on.
    • Check power plug connection.

    • Check the breaker is on position.
    • Check that the main power switch is turned on.

    • Check that electronic components are exposed to water.
      If water exposure is present plug off the power cable immediately and contact to our local distributor or sales representative for further service. Residual may cause electrical hazard.
    Building breaker trips frequently.
  • Check that multiple-connection on a wall outlet is present. It is recommended to solely plug the power cord into an outlet. Otherwise multiple-connection may cause fire hazard.
  • Solely plug the power cord into an outlet if multiple-connection with high power consumption device is present.
  • There is a noticeable increase in fan noise.
    • Check the ventilation intake. Remove all paper products and materials if the airflow is blocked.
    Temperature won’t reach to 4℃
    • Check the ambient temperature.
      Required environment for 4℃ operation is 10 to 30℃ room temperature at 20 to 80% RH.
    • Check the ventilation intake. Remove all paper products and materials if the airflow is blocked.
    Error code appears on the display.
    • Refer to the list of error codes on the operation manual for details.
