The new Astec Gas Line Filters are a cost-effective way to remove contaminants such as VOCs, CACs, microorganisms and particles from incoming CO2, N2 and pre-mixed gas to the incubator. This allows you to maximize successful embryo development.
Astec Gas Line Filters use a combination of activated carbon granules, a HEPA filter and pre-filters to remove VOCs and trap microorganisms and particles. Unique Micro Carbon Technology provides a large activated carbon surface area, enabling uniform gas flow and extremely high purifying capacity.
Astec Gas Line filters are availabe in two variants: ASTEC-4 (four month longevity) and the longer lasting ASTEC-6 (six month longevity).
Since chemicals can have a negative effect on embryo development, we have entirely eliminated the use of chemicals in the manufacturing of our Gas Line Filters.
Additionally, the capsule and all internal materials are safe for use in IVF laboratories.
Each Astec Gas Line Filters is manufactured and tested in an EN ISO 13485:2016 certified facility with a Clean Room Environment, according to cGMP standards.
In addition, each filter is pressure tested with automated testing devices to ensure product safety and effectiveness.
